Comprehensive Safari Travelling Equipment

After being busy all year, most people would love to get away from civilization and spend their vacations in a totally new environment to relax and forget all their troubles. The Maasai Mara National Reserve offers such relaxation.

The reserve is located in Narok in Kenya, and it's very close to the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. This reserve is special because it is known worldwide for The Great Migration where gazelles, zebras and wildebeests migrate from The Maasai Mara to the Serengeti across the Mara River. There are a couple of items that one should carry when going to such a place. The area is mostly warm most of the year, so one needs to carry an equal amount of warm and light clothes. Sunscreen lotion is essential to protect one's skin. Hats also come in handy because they can provide shade in the sun and warmth in the cold. Hiking boots should be carried because they are rugged and can be able to handle the terrain with ease. In the event that one will opt to camp outside instead of staying in a hotel, he or she will need a tent, sleeping bags, sleeping pads and the likes.

There are also a number of other things that may come in handy when travelling to such destinations. They include insect repellents, matches, lanterns or flashlights, a first aid kit for emergencies, a poncho, ropes for making a hanging line of clothes, trash bags and for locations where a toilet isn’t provided, a cathole towel will come in handy.
