History And Economy In Japan

Japan is one of the world’s most influential nations despite its relatively small geographical size. It boasts one of the largest economies and is home to Tokyo, the largest metropolitan city on Earth. Throughout history, the Japanese people have shown an affinity for making progress socially and culturally.

Japan’s culture changed dramatically at the historical point in 1854 when the country was finally made open to the West after centuries of being almost entirely closed off to the rest of the world. The Empire of Japan quickly became an industrialized nation that earned notable status as a world power. Because it was closed off from the rest of the world for so long, Japanese culture was allowed to develop extensions and still affects the lifestyle of many modern Japanese families despite the fact that Western culture has crept in. Some notable aspects of Japanese art include painting, sculpture, and architecture. Wooden pagodas with sliding doors are found throughout Japan. Paintings have been found dating all the way back to 300 BC.

The Japanese economy is one of the most advanced in the world and relies heavily on the technology and service sectors. The industrial capacity of Japan is enormous; motor vehicles, ships, electronics, and even processed foods for export to the entire world are produced in Japan. The government as well as national businesses invest heavily in scientific research in order to continue being a leader in international technology. Throughout its vast history and in modern times through technological developments, Japan has stood out as a major contributor to world heritage.

Remembering the old days

Back in the days we don’t have enough money to buy beautiful things, I don’t have much toys so we used to play outside with our friends and just try to be merry despite being poor. Much of our clothes are just folded neatly and we just put it inside a clean card board box, only the clothes for special occasions are put inside an old squeaky cabinet with drawers.

Today’s different, I'm thankful and blessed that I can give my daughter toys that she’ll love to have, I can buy her pretty clothes to wear every she even has her own cute cabinet, what makes it good is that it has an undermount drawer slides for the her drawers so that she can pull them easily. I'm glad that I can give these things to her and hopefully I can still give them in the in the future.

Surprise, surprise!

As a freelance DJ, I find it hard to lug around my mixer and other equipment from bar to bar. Carrying around too much heavy stuff takes its toll on your body and, sometimes, I already feel tired even before beginning my set. I figured it would be very helpful to buy something with wheels on it to carry my mixer around.

Honestly, I don’t remember telling my girlfriend about this but I was surprised when I arrived home one night and found her searching for mixer cases at musicians friend. She wanted to buy something to help me with my gigs, she said. We found a case with wheels and bought it with our shared savings. Now, hopping from one bar to another isn’t as tasking as it used to be.

Making new friends

I’m not an outgoing person and it’s really hard for me to make new friends. Sometimes, even my close family members are wary around me. I don’t know what it is but I guess I’m just too shy around people. One night though, while I was patiently waiting for my turn to pay at the local grocery store’s cashier, I overheard two people talking about something that I’m very enthusiastic about.

They were apparently arguing where to get the best avid keyboard deal online and I wasn’t able to stop myself—I butted in their conversation! I was really embarrassed and hoped they didn’t hear me but they did. It’s a good thing they were nice to me even after my rude interruption. I found myself easily conversing with them about musical instruments and, surprisingly, we hung out for a couple of beers at the local pub afterwards.

A night with musicians

A friend of mine invited me to a party that was held last night. Since I had nothing better to do, I agreed to go. At first, I regretted my decision because almost everyone in there were musicians—I’m a librarian! I don’t know a thing about music and immediately felt out of place. I overheard bits of conversation from some groups such as where to buy the best Knilling or which instrument is better to achieve a certain sound. Their conversations were as intimidating as their looks.

My friend saved my night though, by introducing me to some of his close acquaintances and giving me a crash course about conversation topics. Eventually, I felt the tension slip away from my body and began to relax. I found myself enjoying the company of some new people and ended up learning a lot about music. Needless to say, the party was a blast!

Melanesians are comprised of the islands of Maluku, Bismarck Archipelago, New Guinea, Rotuma, Torres Strait, Vanuatu, Santa Cruz and so forth. Micronesians are composed of the islands of Gilbert, Caroline, Mariana, Guam, Marshall, Nauru and Wake.

The traditional dance of South Pacific people tells about the arts, history, legends, myths and stories. The eyes and body of the dancers tell the story like the revered warriors, goddesses or ancestors. The traditional dance can be done by group, couple or individual. Their languages are in many forms. Even every island people have own language.

The oral tradition is the main source of passing on their customs and culture and even their stories are not written in the book but are told by mouth by memory. As long as the stories and instructions are told by mouth, the culture is maintained by each generation for the next one. Therefore, rituals, arts, ceremonies and other forms of culture are treasured and shared with other generations and even to the outsiders.

Due to the advance technology that we have almost everything can be done with a click of a button. And just like everything around us, our advance technology also has an up and down side. Although most of the time the good outweighs the bad.

Some of the many perks are that you enroll at your school by doing it online without actually going to the school. You can also pay your bills and make banking transactions online. One can also study and do hydraulic work support online. The things that we can do online have no limits. one can edit pictures, videos with just a few clicks of your mouse. The downside is that one can use these new tools to harm another human being.

The Impressive Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is one of the great natural wonders of the world, one of the best know tourist destinations in the world. The waterfalls are famous for their impressive natural beauty. They are also a great source of hydroelectric power.

The waterfalls of Niagara were formed at the end of the last Ice Age, during the Wisconsin glaciation. They are composed of three waterfalls located on the international border between the US state of New York and the Canadian province of Ontario. The Falls are located between the twin cities of Niagara Falls, one in Ontario, Canada and one in the state of New York, USA. They are at a distance of 121 km (75 miles) South-Southeast of Toronto, Ontario and 27 km (17 miles) north-northwest of Buffalo, New York State. The three waterfalls are forming together the southern end of the Niagara Gorge. The American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls are located on the American side, the Horseshoe Falls is on the Canadian side of the border. The Goat Island is separating the Horseshoe Falls from the American Falls. The Luna Island is separating the Bridal Falls from the others waterfalls. The three waterfalls are on the Niagara River, a river connecting Lake Erie with Lake Ontario.

From all the waterfalls in the world, the Niagara Falls is having the highest flow rate, they are very wide and they have a vertical drop over 50 meters (165 feet). Their average water flow is almost 110,000 m3 (4 million cubic feet). Also, by flow rate and vertical height, the Horseshoe Falls is known as the most powerful waterfall in North America.

Hot Guys, or Hot Guitars?

I once attended a relative’s birthday party and saw a band playing. I was amazed—mesmerized—not just because of the hot band members playing but because of their cools guitars. As much as I loved and adored the looks of those guys, I’d choose their guitar over them!

I went to the backstage right after they performed and they cheerily smiled at me. They must have been thinking that I was there for an autograph, but what I really did was ask what the name of their guitar was. I found out that it was a seymour duncan seth lover set they bought outside town. I just took their autograph right after so that they wouldn’t feel that embarrassed.

The Lost Equipment

We were practicing for the band the whole morning and went out to lunch afterwards. When we returned, we found out that one of our equipment was missing! I panicked since that equipment was not mine, but my brothers’. It was not that expensive, in fact, it was an affordable bugera v5 at guitar center that my brother’s bought a month ago. Nonetheless, they would still get angry at me for being tactless with it.

I tried so search every corner and asked everyone on the vicinity whether they had seen someone take it, but none of them knew. When I returned, it was there! I turns out that it was a prank all this while. I was just thankful it didn’t disappear at all.
